VXEM - futures on VXEEM index were listed on CBOE yesterday, and traded 5 contracts. This is a very weak beginning, which is even worse than GVZ that traded 8 contracts on its first day. 196 contracts traded Tuesday between the 4 listed contracts. As long as the bid/ask stays reasonably tight (15 to 20 cents wide today), I think this product has a shot. Wait for a day when the market sells off 5% and we'll see how volume does then. It's too soon to be discouraged, I think.
